My journey with yoga started about 20 years ago when I moved solo to Venice Beach, California to find myself and heal from a chaotic childhood. After leaving my first yoga class with Max Strom, I was in that yogic bliss state and instantly knew I wanted to become a yoga teacher.

My mat has been my refuge and safe place where many tears have flowed, smiles emerged, layers peeled away, and where I've felt that place within of deep peace, love, clairvoyance and bliss. Yoga has been my mind, body and soul's medicine. It's been my therapy for all these years helping to heal and manage anxiety and find balance being a Highly Sensitive Person in an over stimulated society. .

I've been practicing yoga daily and teaching since 2009 after I completed my first yoga training with Ana Costa at Anahata Yoga in Encinitas. I'm currently in the process of becoming a certified Yoga Therapist through 'The Soul of Yoga' in Encinitas. I have also studied with many amazing teachers along my yogic path such as Tiffany Cruikshank, Dena Zimbe, Nischala Joy Devi, Sarahjoy Marsh, Brian Dorfmann and many more, earning more hours and certification than I can keep track of. I am a student of Yoga for life.

My teaching style has roots with a flowing breath-centered vinyasa intertwined with a therapeutic approach, while honoring the individual's mind and body needs on that specific day and time. It is my passion to teach yoga and to share all the healing tools in my 'Yoga tool box' with my students.

Off the mat, I am a Mother to Kaia "the brightest wisest little soul whom has been my best teacher yet" and wife to Joe who is also on the Yogic path and has been a great ally to travel through all the ups and downs that come with being a human here on earth. We love earthing, walking and playing barefoot on the beach as a family.

I look forward to practicing with you soon! Xx
