Sun Salutations for 12 Days of Earth Day Event

April 25, 2010
Thank you so much for coming to the Cannon Beach Chamber Hall to demonstrate your reverence and appreciation of the life-giving solar energy of the sun.  Your graceful, thoughtful and  focused energies were beautiful to witness and share.  I enjoyed my morning with you so very much.  And we raised some money for the Ecola Creek Awareness Project.  So, come on Spring!  Let the Sun Shine...

Lauren Kinhan Live @ the Cannon Beach Coaster Theatre

March 25, 2010
Wow!  What a show!  Thank you so much to everyone for coming out and supporting this musical extravaganza.  There is nothing more satisfying than a great audience to complement a fantastic performance.  Thank you to the Tolovana Arts Colony for sponsoring this concert.  Thank you to the Coaster Theatre Playhouse for providing a wonderful and intimate venue.  Thank you to Spud Siegel for fantastic sound.  Thank you to the Jiroudek brothers, Evan & Lake for an exciting look at the next generation of jazz.  Thank you to the band:  Peter Eldridge, Scott Steed, Todd Strait, Rob Davis and John Stowell.  And thank you, Lauren for cookin' -- your music, your words, your voice -- a spicy stew that fills and thrills me.  Love You!

Katrina Repka in Vancouver BC

March 20, 2010
Thank you to Verena Foxx & Mary Anne Chu for hosting Yogiraj Katrina Repka in Vancouver BC at the Center for Peace.  I was so thrilled to be able to come and do the Chakra Workshop today.  It was a wonderful group and a lovely time.  Katrina and I are talking about having her come for another session in Cannon Beach this summer. For those of you who attended the workshop last August, I'd love to touch base with you about what you liked, what you'd do differently, and whether you'd like to do the workshop again.  Namaste, Christen

Thanks for a Fun Yoga for Eye Health Workshop

March 17, 2010
Thank you so very much for a well-attended and enthusiastic Yoga for Eye Health Workshop on Wednesday, March 10.  I've been practicing my Chinese acupressure points everyday.  It is taking less time, and fewer brain cells as I start to remember the 12 steps -- sometimes in sequence.  Or maybe that memory point is working...  I'd love to hear how it is going for you.  And for those who were not able to make the workshop, we'll do it again soon.  Namaste, Christen

Not to worry if you weren't able to get in to the Restorative Class on Friday, March 12, I plan to offer one at least once during the 4-week TAC term.  So check in with the workshop page to stay in-the-know.  It was a wonderful, restful and beautiful evening.  Thank you so much to each of you that participated.  Take good care, Christen
